Job Description:

The Tasting Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests while promoting our brand and products. This role requires a strong background in hospitality and food service, as well as excellent leadership skills to manage staff and coordinate events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine dining and a keen understanding of food safety and preparation.

 

Job Details:

  • Manage all aspects of the tasting room operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Create and implement engaging tasting experiences that highlight our products and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee food service operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Coordinate special events, including banquets and private tastings, to promote our offerings and engage with the community.
  • Maintain inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere by providing exceptional customer service and addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus that pair well with our products.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, adhering to health and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field, preferably within a fine dining or tasting room environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food service practices, including food preparation, handling, and safety protocols.
  • Experience in bartending or beverage service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and create memorable experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed for events.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A passion for wine or spirits is a plus, along with knowledge of pairing techniques.
